Citizens of the US need to stand up against BP which treats us like a third world nation–wrecks the Alaska pipeline with corrosion while trying to save pennies on maintenance, experiences plant and rig explosions that kill dozens of Americans, pollutes our land and our sea…and now may pollute an entire body of water–on a planetary scale–not just a lake or a river, but an entire sea.

I do hope we’ll be sending them a GIANT BILL for the services of our military–they can’t handle their own mess and now want to endanger our military and no doubt dump the cost on our taxpayers. Talk about externalities!

Are we at the limits of technology? Should similar drilling be allowed?
How about in some posh section of London and in the hunting country in England?

Where are the Palins of the world when we need them? Drill baby drill. Americans are so obsessed with oil, we allow this to happen in our country. Sad! Everyone in this industry knows that they can not shut down a mile deep well so there are no precautions in place now and in the future. Now we are going to drill off of the east coast. Revelations is upon us and we better start treating mother earth and its living breathing inhabatents with respect or it is over. Just a thought!
