I can recall back in the 70’s when almost every vehicle on the road had a CB radio in it and people were talking on them all of the time. Why weren’t people screaming about the carnage caused by ‘talking on the CB radio’? Why was there no legislation to ban CB radios from being used while driving? Simple – incompetent, lazy, inattentive, discourteous drivers is the reason and IMHO, no law or regulation will change that.
