Just curious if there has ever been two people in a Toyota that has accelerated uncontrollably for longer than a minute? Because it would be nice to hear any witnesses other than the driver. If I was in the passenger seat and the car started speeding up, I’d automatically look to see if the person was doing it on purpose. Then if they said the car was doing it, I’d say no, you’re stepping on the gas. I wonder why Toyotas accelerate like this with only the driver in the car? Seems more like driver error every day.

There were 4 people in a San Diego County crash, all died, the driver was a CHP or police, hence professionally trained.

I believe another was in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. 4 people in the car that somehow when out of control and sped into a lake. All four died. The floor mats were found in the trunk.

There were 4 people in that car. It went into a pond and all died, 2 at the crash, 2 a day later. However, the police investigation shows no evidence at all to support sudden acceleration. Still no conclusion as to what caused the crash, it was daylight on dry roads.

Thanks for the replies. It appears that the Toyota cars are very smart. If one person is in the car, they live, but are called liars. If two or more people are in the car, the Toyota makes sure to remove any witnesses.
