too bad. just when Toyota seemed poised to take over the world, this comes along. Could not come at a better time for Ford and GM.

No one should have diminished value if the cars are adequately repaired by Toyota.

What a joke……I’d love to backtrack and see who the first scumbag was to jump on this bandwagon…why does something tell me it’s a lawyer in Chicago???????// Or a friend of Eric Holders???

I’ve NEVER heard of a class action for diminished value after a recall.

Did you catch that article about how some US gov official went to chew Mr. Toyoda’s A*S?? Hope and change baby! Toyota was and is still one of the better choices us US consumers have, since our auto companies can’t make a car with a transmission that lasts beyond 55000 miles. (less Ford in recent years)

    Rosie:
how much underpaid are Toyota employees? are you talking about American employees, or Japanese? You’re right, it’s a real travesty they are not paid as much as their Mexican counterparts who work for GM, Ford, and Chrysler…

it’s wierd how this non union staff has been able to keep up with their slave like environment all these years, and why the American manufacturers keep trying to immitate their processes, and how many times do we hear US manufacturers saying ‘we’re just as good as the Japanese’…little did I know they were better all this time because of Union Contracts!

Rosie, I grew up in a union family. You have no idea what you’re talking about. I always assume eventually you’ll figure that out, but you keep opening your mouth, and ignorance keeps falling out…but I’ll give you this: you’re entertaining, but not in a positive way.

Rosie is obvioulsy a disgruntled communist. She claims that non-union workers are “unmotivated.” Hmmm, you mean workers who work on MERIT and not a guarunteed collective bargaining agreement that gives them wage increases no matter what their performance are un-motivated but the workers with guarunteed salary and increases are motivated?

Hmmm, I guess I proved that she’s an idiot, much as she did NOT prove any of her case.

Union laborers account for only 7.5% of the US workforce.

So, 92.5% are non-union. Common sense tells you that if you have to EARN your raise, you’re going to WORK for it….if you believe you’re ENTITLED to your raise, you’re not going to work for it.

Which is why unions ought to be outlawed in this country. And why Scott Brown’s hurried swearing in so he can vote AGAINST the nomination of Becker as head of the NLRB was exactly what we needed to stop the train wreck of entitlement mentality.

If liberals only understood that we are saving them from themselves……..

Rosie, GMs build quality sucks because there is no incentive in their union contract to build good vehicles. They pay guys $95k a year to check for leaks off the line. Add it all up and it’s no wonder GM lost money on every car they made. The UAW killed GM.

To Dr. J your statistics reflect in the private work force. Although my statistics reflect close to 12 %. This statistic may amaze you, but over 40% of the government workforce is union. There is no doubt the Democrats want to raise these numbers.
