I continually wonder reading the toyota saga: how many of these are situations where the driver hit the gas instead of the brake, and it’s easy to blame the vehicle?
I took my 06 Toyota Avanlon for the gas pedal recall and the next day my Toyota accerated while on the highway, I paniced and turned the car off on a dangerous highway which was a miracle I did not get hit from behind. I restarted my car and drove to side steets slowly to get home. The Dealer inspected and said nothing was wrong. I am very upset and afraid to drive my car.
