“The suit said that while Madoff, who is serving life in prison, is the chief culprit in the scheme, the SEC must be held accountable for its negligence and failure to expose the fraud.”
…and besides, we haven’t been able to find where Madoff and his gang have stashed the cash, so we’re looking for the deepest pockets we can find. Which is the right play. With this kind of money involved, it is likely the plaintiffs’ attorneys will shake things up enough for us to learn whether regulators were incompetent or complicit.

Takes some time to read, but it’s easy to follow, extremely well-researched, and quite eye-opening. Enlightening, really. Don’t believe the planted liars/spinsters who will claim it’s fabricated. Decide for yourself.

I’ve read it, but it doesn’t highlight one common thread, as explained by Madoff himself –

“These guys they work for five years at the commission then they become a compliance manager at a hedge fund now.”

So which is better for the people who lost their money: asking the people who were stolen from to wait around and see how much the forensic accountants can uncover, or trying to get a bunch of money in a lawsuit and handing 1/3 of it to lawyers?
Also, while hindsight is 20-20, wasn’t there a way for the people who got taken to physically check on what Madoff told them he invested in?

So, they can sue themselves for thinking their fine friend’s well would never run dry; otherwise known as stupidity.

Finally the SEC is getting sued. I’ve said it all along. They should be getting sued for more than just this scheme. This just proves that Obama, his Czars and the rest of the Federal Government have no place trying to regulate the private sector in other areas. They cannot do a good job on what they have now and they want to add medical and Insurance to the mix. Nice, real nice. To bad the media doesn’t have the balls to ask the President these questions. The American people deserve an answer from the President on why he thinks by creating more Federal regulation will save us from ourselves. The SEC proves that it is just a waste of money for the Federal Government to regulate anything. Costs us money to run it and cost us money to defend it when it doesn’t do it’s job. Leave it to the States Obama and media start doing your job and questionning these antics.

Ladies and gentlemen, take heed to what Baxter is saying. It may not be what you want to hear, but the roots of this current ‘revolution’ may well be anchored to a charlatin whose very campaign posters were a work of pilferage. Indeed the American people have and should exercise their right to hold the president accountable for his past, current, and future actions least they begin building ovens and showers.
