reduced death toll in 2008 to 37,261 does nothing to soothe pain and despair for in my family. My 33yr old brother was killed by a drunk driver in a little town in Florida’s panhandle. on a dark stretch of NEW ROAD without oncoming barriers. An irresponsible drunk being pursued by local police crossed over a double yellow line on a hill just so he COULD KILL MY BROTHER. Ray left behind three children under the age of 5 and the guy that took him out had a whopping $10,000 limit available to pay for his neglect. We have to bring this toll down EVEN FURTHER… we have to eliminate Drunk Drivers and question police pursuit and have better roads in these rural areas
