Any of the SEC enforcement unit chiefs from Chicago? People in charge of the SEC investigations going all the way back to day one were probably looking the other way…but not for nothing. I wonder if their houses, cars, lifestyle fit their salary?
And these are the same guys who are trying to push an agenda for federal regulation of insurance? They are either corrupt or incompetent. Maybe they should focus on doing the job they are supposed to be doing first, instead of trying to take on an industry about which they have no knowledge or expertise.
NEVER trust a human being to do the right thing when there’s money involved. This has nothing to do with “federal” oversight. It has everything to do with flawed human beings who are incapable of doing their jobs. I wonder how many of these jerkoffs paid the price for their stupidity by losing their jobs?

If this is any indication of Federal regulation, we have nothing to worry about.
