can any of these incoming phone calls be traced or tracked? it amazes me how simple things are and yet it only takes one to get everyone moving in the wrong direction. i hope they catch this guy.
Yep, even Joe Mama has been duped by a prank call. Once, someone called and said they were from a classic rock station I just happened to be listening to at the time. They asked me who my favorite artist was, to which I replied “Eric Clapton.” They then told me that if I could sing a Clapton song, I’d win their grand prize. Like an absolute idiot, I started singing “Tears in Heaven” into the phone. About a minute later, I realized something was up and asked, “Is this a prank?” “Yes” said the caller, “But you have to admit, it’s a pretty good one.” Indeed it was.
It is terrible someone is doing this, but I must admit I was chuckling through the story picturing frantic people doing this stuff when nothing was actually wrong. I hope they find the person and they get punished.
I wonder if you would have laughed if while travelling for work and having an important meeting the next morning, you had been awoken and have to go outside waiting for an all clear to go back and then only to find you could not go back to sleep……..interesting.
remember Forest Gump saying “stupid is as stupid does”?
amazing there are so many stupid people in our world that fall from things like this. actually pretty sad.

“…a man with a deep voice phoned a Hampton Inn…..” Oh – that explains it.

One does not “bust” windows. One breaks them.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but why would breaking windows silence a fire alarm?
