Let’s see, Colorado draws most of its water from the Ogallala Aquifer under Nebraska (a big point of contention, I might add) and NY is about as far from drilling as could be. So what is the real motivation behind this? I don’t believe the politicians are environmental wackos except for photo ops and sound bites, so it has to be money. Who’s really behind this? I’d follow the trail, but I don’t have the time. Maybe a blogger can do it. The press sure as heck won’t.

The way to save the health of our citizens is to shut down all drilling operations. Not only would we save the lives of the workers from drilling accidents but we would “clean-up” the water.

Let’s buy all gas and oil from the Mid-East.
