Perfect comments! I hope some of those brilliant people from the VPC check in and read the comments. They probably can’t figure out that more people are hit in crosswalks than jaywalking either.
This is coming from an anti-gun group. How is it that Washington DC ranks near the top of violent crimes every year while they also are the most gun restrictive? Could it be that the criminals do not heed the gun laws?
Gee, wow a revelation. Do you know what else? States with the highest auto use and miles driven also have the highest fatality/accident rates. And hunters have a much, much higher rate of death and injury from gun shot than non-hunters. Gee, do many people hunt in Alaska?
What a phony stat. States with the highest gun ownership also have the lowest crime rates, especially for violent crimes.
Please don’t compare accidental gun deaths with murder, rape, assault/battery, and armed robbery, the latter being problems in states with the most restrictive gun control laws and lowest legal ownership of guns.

Any half wit knows we are all being smoked with propaganda night and day since the communist took over.
I would suggest getting and keeping as many firearms as you are comfortable shooting.
One Big Awful Mistake America

As usual Claims Journal editors are nothing more than a mouthpiece for the Obama administation.
You put it much better than I did.
I figured out this on my own. I didn’t need a study to tell to me this fact.
Another one I figured out on my own.
