Pull out in front of me when I am travelling 50 mph and only 30 feet away and I can guarantee you one thing. I will pry your little car and you out of the grille and then drive away.
As for the 55 mph speed limit. I surely hope that animal never rises his head again. It is bad enough having to drive through Illinois, Ohio or Virginia at 65. The interstate system was designed for 80 mph in about 80% of the system. that is what the limit should be.
