Any word on what AM Best rated AIG in October 2008? I believe it was A+. Just last week Insurance Journal online reported outstanding financial performance by Allstate, and the last line of the article read:

Remember this about good ole corp insider info: When Liddy (the current AIG honcho) left a scant few years ago, the stock was $66+. This occurred during that phase when 1/2 of its agency force had rebelled against him. AIG was about to initiate a hostile takeover of Allstate. Write a book for the Harvard MBA’s on it. Today’s stock of AAA = $20 !!!!!!!!
