IM FIGHTING THIS ADJUSTER EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. HE DOES’NT WANT TO PAY FOR A THING.
Although lightning can occur as an isolated incident, it usually occurs in a storm system and is tracked & documented by the major weather bureaus and tv stations. Try to get documentation of local lightning activity at the aprox time of your loss and then try to locate & photograph the overload burn mark where it entered your house. Add to that clear statements by qualified technicians that the equipment appears to have been hit by a lightning surge and not just a transmisson surge from the power company. If that dosen’t pry his cheeks apart, contact your state’s insurance commisioner to file a complaint and possible civil remedy action.

Damages were never a question as is with electronics at times. But if you have 20 appliances that burn out all at once during an electrical storm and your company doesn’t want to pay, guess what?
