    Florida regulators certainly haven’t.

    But hey! Don’t worry. If they don’t regulate for actuarily sound rates on the front end, they’ll just sue the liquidated companies and their Officers for whatever might be left on the back end.

    Problem solved. (scratching head…..)

    Well, The Poe companies did it to themselves. They gambled and lost. Poe never had the necessary amount of re-insurance to cover the losses. Guess they figured it wouldn’t happen to them.

    They finally figured out how to set Kentucky windage, SWAG is what we call it. In my opinion too many people in insurance have never sold insurance, just went out and bought themselves a little alphabet salad to go behind the name. Education/certification without practical application or experience is a prime recipe of disaster.     I’ve talked to the folks at EMB before, and they do indeed have some very smart people on their staff.

    This article, however, reads like an advertisemnt, which is probably what it originally was.
