Instead of bomb-sniffing dogs, why not use bomb-sniffing pigs. They will stay away in droves.
Dogs and pigs are both unclean for them, so it wouldn’t really matter theologically – but your idea provides a better visual!
Especially if it’s a “crotch” pig!
