    Might have something to do with the fact that they got in trouble for spying on people in church (I believe in Georgia)….

    Only two scenarios I can think of that would result in a unilateral termination.
    1. Significant reserve deficiency
    2. Internal fraud

    I dont know I havnt seen any of those Progressive vans around lately. Maybe there is a connection?

    Could be the Claims guy challenged the position of somoeone higher up on the food chain and got eaten. Wouldn’t be the first time somebody got thrown under the bus for not supporting a lame idea.

    for perfectly competent leaders to be shown the door at Progressive. They’re among the leaders at reorganizing and reshuffling talent, at least from a volume standpoint. Given their historic results, maybe they know something about rotating and releasing talent.

    It is unusual that after 7 years he is unceremoniously “separated” with no fanfare or detail. This one stinks.

    I’m sure his golden parachute will keep him pretty comfortable until he shows up somewhere else. Surprised they didn’t lay off a bunch of staff positions to make up the difference in expense.
