When I read this article, it makes me think the stage is being set by the corporate and government elite for the next major devastating attack on our economy and communication infrastructure. Will there be a wave of insurance policies purchased now to cover “major worldwide disruptions in the internet”. You have now been warned people.

Similar to 9/11, justification for endless war against faceless and nameless enemies of our choosing may need a little refreshing…after all…haven’t we all been a little too reliant on the internet lately? Now we Americans can have something else to blame on the terrorists…Damn, my internet is down…stupid terrorists. What fodder for the ignorant masses.

By the way, the internet isn’t a reliable or serious communication medium since we should all be relying more on the nightly tv news than this highly suspicious internet thingy…because if you rely too much on it, this article describes what will happen. Let’s get real folks, the internet was designed from the ground up based on a military system made up of multiple redundant access points. This fear is mostly propoganda and isn’t really that serious of a concern…or is it?

I couldn’t agree more….fear is how the government keeps us in line with THEIR needs, values, ideals, etc…. This is not a new concept, yet it’s a viscious cycle that won’t go away.

(but it does make me question companies that are going paperless….that could be a mess)
