I think he’s trying to say that he wishes he was the head of a large insurance company which was able to receive the help of the federal government. I am also guessing that he is wondering who the government works for–the people or the companies?

In this much maligned post I am guessing Brian is peeved at the general state of affairs in this nation.

There are problems with schools, poverty, and homelessness. Now there are these insurance companies which are represented by agents who aren’t interested in the welfare of their clients but instead are slaves to the almighty dollar.

He feels that government oversight should not fight for what’s best for the insurance industry but instead should be out there fighting for the consumers.

He wants to see the hard data behind all these studies and models which have become so prevalent in policy making. He wants to see the statistics of insurance fraud and what government has done to crack down on insurance companies which aren’t acting as per the policy language and that aren’t interested in the welfare of their clients.

He wants to see why insurance companies think its smart to do business in a way that hurts their policyholders.

These are not my opinions. I am just guessing his intent in this post.

You’re good, Master Translator. I doubt Brian (Brain) is that articulate…. just a hunch… but you’ve probably hit most of his issues on the head. I bet the guy at the gas station hates to see him drive up.

    Thanks (Ms.) Broker.

I did my senior thesis on message board jibberish.

I think you should publish a dictionary of cool posting terms for us less than cool people. I have a really hard time understanding the hip posters on this site and others a lot of times. You would make maybe several dollars with your opus.
