Another Bush appointee trying to deny problems and sweep them under the rug. I bet she doesn’t live in FL.

From what I read at another source, the difference in the 2 systems is a few miles, probably less that 10. Somehow, I don’t think it will make that much of a difference considering the size of the storms.

Another left-wing idiotic way to waste money exposed.

What’s the big deal? The prior director, Max Mayfield brought up the same issue a couple of years ago. Honesty is the best policy.

Built/launched in 1999 with a life expectancy of 2 to 3 years AND the replacement won’t be ready for another ten? Great planning on their part, don’t you think? They also need to find who ratted them out when the letter was made public. Does appear to be a case of over-reaction.

This has been an attempt for honesty, the dis-honesty comes in the form of the letter with “keep quiet” attached to it, this topic concerns all and should be in the open, you would think however, that perhaps we could get the new one launched before 2016!! Once again we witness America’s apathy on honesty and the government’s lack of prioritizing…human life seems to take the back burner again and again…
