Of course it makes a difference! You don\’t think Bush is going to magically direct a weakening storm at a \”chocolate city\” do you? Of course not… he\’ll summon the dark forces of the Republican party to direct the strongest Level 5 hurricane at the next predominately black (or Democrat, liberal, whatever) district he can find.

Oh, rest assured my good man, he\’s just working out how many souls he\’ll need to sell to get a hurricane to perfectly position itself to block black (only) voters from being able to vote in the \’08 presidential elections.

Never trust Republicans! They\’ll toss a hurricane, a swarm of locusts, a few meteorites, and a butterfly ballot or two to win the election… BASTARDS!

This is a joke. Current technologies give people more than adequate warning to get out of the path of an oncoming hurricane. Spending money on this junk makes the weather knerds happy, but it has no value-add to the public. A hurricane is a hurricane in HD,color,or black and white. And what\’s the point of being able to tell if a storm is gathering strength? Will people in its path be able to do anything differently?
