BEWARE! Anybody thinking of purchasing identity theft insurance read the privacy rules of the institution offering such insurance.
They normally read that the institution offering the insurance can share your information with 3rd party affiliates now this is where it stinks. These 3rd party afffiliates can share your information with their 3rd party affiliates and so on.
The next thing you know you have more people and business\’ knowing of your finances than if you just placed your own alerts on your own accounts.
A good place to start is to make anyestablishment you charge at ask for your I.D. this way in addition to having the credit card they also get to see a photograph of the owner of the card with the name on the drivers license. I always write ask for I.D.on the back of any credit card and there are only teo places that failed so far. Walmart and Applebees.
