How can a study of FATAL (ACCIDENTS) COLLISIONS reveal anything except observations of what what causes or contributes to fatalities?
IMHO a study of COLLISION SURVIVORS might reveal what contributes to surviving a collision. Also, IMHO the word \”accident\” has been misused for far too long. \”Oh, it\’s nobody\’s fault, it was an accident!\” What a load of bullcrap. A moving vehicle collides with something and it is either an elastic or an inelastic collision (the simple laws of physics are at work here folks…). The vast majority of collisions have been, are, and will continue to be caused by driver incompetence, ignorance, and laziness – all intentional and nothing accidental about them. Come on IJ, try becoming a bit more intellectual and ditch the sensationalism – it is very insulting to those of us who can think for ourselves.

Whoa….,Darnovak! I pray to God that you don\’t find yourself behind the wheel of a car with a carload of kids and your brakes fail (which can happen with the BEST made cars/brakes)….your intentional collision could make you a murderer! Lighten up! :)
