Looking to rub elbows with industry leaders? Maurice “Hank” Greenberg will be in Atlanta and Lord Peter Levene of Lloyd’s will be in Singapore.

Feel like networking among the stars? Fox News commentator Bill O¹Reilly and veteran journalist Morton Kondracke will both speak in Washington, D.C. at separate agents’ meetings. Comedian Dennis Miller? He¹ll be at the RIMS annual meeting in New Orleans.

Ever wonder what it would be like to sit behind the wheel of a car at a NASCAR race? One who knows, David Holcombe, director of risk management, International Speedway Corp., is also scheduled for the 2007 RIMS Annual Convention in New Orleans.

Worried about the weather? The master of the hurricane forecast, Max Mayfield, promises to explain where all the hurricanes went in 2006.

The insurance industry¹s convention calendar for 2007 is a busy one, with meetings scheduled from New Delhi to New York, Philadelphia to Phoenix, San Juan to San Francisco.

Greenberg, former leader at AIG and current chairman of C.V. Starr and Co., will present the keynote address at the Target Markets Program Administrator¹s Association Mid-Year Meeting. The event is being held in Atlanta from May 7-9, 2007.

Max Mayfield, outgoing director of National Hurricane Center will address, “The 2006 Atlantic Hurricane Season: Where Did It Go?” on Jan. 30 at the Windstorm Insurance Conference in Tampa.

Asia Insurance Review¹s 7th Insurance CEO Summit in Singapore from March 6-8 will feature Lloyd¹s Lord Levene as well as Teo Swee Lian, deputy managing director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and Tim East, director of risk management for The Walt Disney Co.

Commentator Kondracke will deliver the keynote address during the 2007 Federal Legislative Summit held March 28-29 in Washington, D.C. being sponsored by the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA).

Media star Bill O¹Reilly will be the keynoter for the annual convention of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America in Washington, D.C., April 25-27.

The Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) annual meeting in New Orleans from April 29 through May 2 will have a roster jam-packed with insurance leaders, including Brian Dowd of ACE USA; J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr., of Arthur J. Gallagher; Greg Case of Aon; Joseph Plumeri of Willis, Brian Storms of Marsh and Martin J. Sullivan of AIG. They will try not to be outshone by NASCAR¹s Holcombe and comedian Dennis Miller.
