I invented all that safety equipment, John – remember. I think the government should issue floaties to every man, woman and child so that when global warming melts the polar icecap and the oceans rise, we will be able to float our way to Washington for the hearings to determine whose fault it is!
I wonder if passed, if this law would require the U.S. Armed Forces to provide proper safety equipment for the troops in Iraq. Currently, many of them are purchasing it for themselves online. I am sure they have a way of making sure the law applies to everyone but them.

I notice that neither of you made any comments about the lack of proper body armor or God forbid, safety equipment provided to workers in various industries that have every right to be safe. Clearly lobby groups in America have a lot to answer for in retarding and dumbing down a lot of safety initiatives. the situation as described would not be tolerated uner our processes and rightly so.
