I thought good credit was a huge factor in determing claims??? I\’m really confused now???? Age and gender play a role in accidents???

But some states won\’t allow you to use gender in determining rates even though here\’s another example that it impacts rates.

Gender is definitely a good factor to use in determining risk and I see examples of it every day in the parking lot and on the roads.

It surprises me that some states don\’t allow the use of gender for rating, too. That\’s nuts.

My son will be driving in less than 3 years. While I talk to him regularly about safe driving and his future responsibilities behind the wheel, I can\’t follow him around 24-7 after he has a license.

So gentlemen, what could your parents have said to you that would have made you a safer driver when you were a teen?

My parents said \”One ticket and you don\’t drive until you\’re 18.\”. It worked.

IF you\’re going to be sarcastic John, at least get your facts straight.

Credit is only one of many components in a drivers rating.

    Idiot.

The credit correlation is for FILING a claim – not having an accident. Tho I bet that insured with good credit is more likely to have their brakes checked too.
