Yes, you\’ll notice that every year, Bill Gray will constantly adjust his \”predictions\” until he finally gets it right.

He\’s only missed the last two years by a dozen or so hurricanes. Let me guess 2007 will be an average year.

can we actually predict hurricanes? we can only guess, but mother nature can change her course of action at anytime. it\’s like predicting the amount of tornadoes over the midwest. or like predicting the amount of rain or snow that maight fall? or percentage chance of rain? when i was in key west, to us that meant how much of the day will it rain, because we knew that it would. so let predictions be that…we don\’t hold palm readers or tarot card readers to their predictions…

I sure wish I was so sharp that I could sit back in my armchair and have the right to bag on men who are using all of the known data to attempt to predict the unpredictible. Although it would be fantastic to have someone develop a model that was 100% accurate that does not exist.

If the braintrust on this post has credible data to show that these fine Gentlemen have done something wrong than please bring it on, otherwise go after far more deserving targets in our society.
