At last we see some numbers to which we can relate. If you listen to most of the media, you would be led to believe that the insurance companies aren\’t paying anything out while in fact they have paid $15.5 BILLION so far.

I am sure that this will not shut many of the folks up nor will we see this in any of the major media.

I think this article is a buch of crap. I lost my condo in Mississippi along with thousands of others and the insurance is NOT paying off. They are trying to use the water clause to get out of paying. The federal judge DID NOT side with the insurance as he said if we can prove wind, the insurance companies must pay. Our condo asociation along with thousands of others, have lawsuits pending as the judge said in another ruling, the water clause was too ambigious.

95% have been settled but that is out of millions of claims. There are many thousands that still have not been resolved.

The media chooses to report what is yet to be done. If you want there to be more good news than contact your local news affiliates and report to them that you know of many in your community that want to hear more good along with the bad. You are not powerless you know.
