    Agent says:
    Like or Dislike:
    Thumb up 0
    Thumb down 0

I like the angle from the underwriter. Thank you for taking the time to share.

The best point you make is if they could not enforce the laws that exist today what will be different in a few years. Let me add that when all these AG\’s are not there to care, the independent agents will be left with a legacy.

It seems like nobody other than the AG\’s really care about the disclosure issue. We have a few carriers who print terms like \”we earn a commission\” and most of the clients just looked at us, say gee you mean you get paid, and laugh. The clients care about the bottom line. Sure the big accounts who negotiate commissions and other services like loss control care enjoy insurance negotiation, but the average consumer is only further confused, and for agents it becomes one more thing in the way of doing business with multiple carriers.

Does anyone know how they will measure the 65% rule ?
