May 31, 2006

USI Holdings Corporation, based in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y., has entered into an agreement with MyMedicalRecords.com, a provider of online Medical Record and Vital Document storage, to offer the service to its customers throughout the United States.

MyMedicalRecords.com uses proprietary technology to provide a totally secure digitized environment for records of every kind, from personal health records to vital documents such as insurance policies and financial records that can be accessed from any Internet-connected computer anytime of the day anywhere in the world.

“With this new service offering, USI clients can provide their plan members with electronic access to their medical history and other vital documents that may affect care, said Jeffrey L. Jones, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of USI. “More importantly, in an emergency, their doctors have the ability to share their patient records in near-real time.”

“Having immediate access to comprehensive medical information in an emergency saves lives and reduces medical costs,” said Robert H. “Bob” Lorsch, chairman and CEO of MyMedicalRecords.com. “According to a recent Rand study the move towards health IT from a paper-based system can reduce healthcare costs by more than $180 billion annually,” he said.

MyMedicalRecords.com also serves as a virtual safe deposit box for all the other vital documents an individual needs in an emergency or in the event of a disaster, including insurance policies and financial records, birth certificates, passports, living wills, powers of attorney, and photos of family, pets and property.
