The victims of the bid-rigging scheme were large and small companies, nonprofit organizations and government offices that purchased commercial lines of insurance from Zurich.

Gosh they even burned the non profits struggling so hard to stay afloat and make a difference these days.

    Shame on Zurich.

Zurich America is part of the company that manages Farmers Insurance and demands ethical customer treatment from the agents. Farmers has terminated agents for misrepresentation of facts. It must be the trickle UP effect.

Zurich turned me down for an appointment when I projected my annual premium volumn would be $1mm. first year. And I had $250,000 of that biz already in Zurich thru a previous employer. Their reason?
I was too small. They reasoned that they had appointed a small wholesaler before me who had payment problems…and they did not want to take a chance on me.

Zurich I am gonna miss you, like a toothache.
