AutoOne Insurance Names Marinello as VP, Claims and Chief Claims Officer

AutoOne Insurance, a provider of automobile insurance products ranging from Assigned Risk to voluntary automobile offerings, including Private Passenger Auto, Physical Damage Only and unique Take-Out policies, announced the appointment of Ralph Marinello, Jr. as vice president, Claims and chief claims officer effective June 17, He will report to Carey Benson, AutoOne’s president and CEO.

“Ralph brings an especially appropriate range of experiences to our senior management team and his claims experience is on target with our core businesses,” said Benson.

In this role, Marinello will be responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of claims activities for the company’s LAD / CLAD and Private Passenger Auto programs. This includes monitoring and analyzing AutoOne’s claims operation as it relates to the specific lines of business, ensuring timely and adequate reserving and proper disposition of all claims.

Marinello has 18 years of experience in personal and commercial automobile insurance. For the last several years, he was the vice president and chief claims officer of First Trenton Indemnity, a subsidiary of Travelers Personal Lines Insurance where he was responsible for the claim operations in New Jersey.
