    What era?

If you are speaking about the era of corruption, I am in total agreement.

When Larry Bird, Magic J. and M. Jordan retired, I said: end of an era…When Jeff Greenberg and Hank Greenberg, I said: thank God for E. Spitzer!

Patty, has Mr. Greenberg shared with you any of his dirty money?

    When will the ignorance stop.

come on now, how many people out there really think hank is going to “retire” and leave his business to someone else to run?

we’ll probably have to pry his cold, stiff, fingers off of the telephone when his time comes. we aren’t all as naive as some wanna be politician in NY.

How sad it is that so many can revel in the demise of such a legend, especially one that has been touted by some of the most brilliant minds in the business world.

Take some time to remember what this guy built. You may not like some of his methods, but, the least you can do is give credit where it is due. How many jobs has he created… and then compare that to how many YOU have created.

How pathetic the mob mentality can be. Reflect on if your nonsense is directed at a truly evil man, or, if it is borne from petty jealousy, envy, or lack of self worth.

Grow up. And if you believe so much that Hank was horrible as your comments indicate… then get busy and bring public any others that fit the same bill — that is, if you’re really brave… or are you just a coward at heart that can only kick someone when they’re down?

Wouldn’t your Mom be proud of you now?

Umpire, Greenberg gained this so called success through potentially illegal and unethical means, or as some may call it, cheating and deceiving others.

I do not believe anyone should be jealous or envious of Mr. Greenberg’s devious conduct hereto.

I can proudly say that I have not created any jobs by the means at which Mr. Greenberg used.

Any yes, my mom would be very proud of me for supporting the good guy–E. Spitzer!

PS. This is not a mob mentality–people are just tired of the rich getting rich by cheating and deceiving others. Power to the people!

Do any of you brave people actually work in this industry?

Have you ever received a bonus? Gotten profit sharing from a company you deal with? Intentionally tried to distort the facts to lower payment on a cliam to ge the priase and a good raise from your boss?

Have you evere submitted an app that was NOT 100% truethfull or approved an app knowing that it was not up to par but had to meet your quota?

In this business what has happened with the exception of the bid rigging by the larger mega brokers is just the way this industry has operated for over 100 years.

And to quote a very good book, let those amoung you who is without sin cast the first stone.

If this business is so over run by corruption and crime where is the D.O.I. and why aren’t they on the forefront of this crusade?

One of Mr Spitzer’s prime example of the bid fixing was in South Carolina. When was he elected to defend the people of South Carolina. Also, if you are looking to save money on your insurance premium wouldn’t a “normal” person also geet a quote from other brokers to be sure that their current broker is properly representing them and not their own self interest? Why is it that the insurance buying public always pointing the finger at this industry and not saying boy was I a dummy for not using common sence and taking charge of thieer insurance and their ability to go elsewhere.

One who is tired of all this BS
