I am a water damage contractor, We are seeing a trend towards agents telling homeowners not to turn in any water damage due to Clue reports and rising deductibles. This liablitly is huge with Mold awareness. We are finding home after home polluted with mold where agents have told the homeowner to clean it up themselves, not know proper drying procedures is letting this minor claim turn into health issues and major claims.
I would be very carefull with any water damage to sugest clients to clean it up themselves, make sure your E and O is in place if you do.
