First of all, Halloween is not a “HOLIDAY”. wELL AT LEAST NOT IN MY COUNRTY HERE IN THE U.S. It seems ridiculous what has been stated in the above article. Tell me, what is the value of so called Halloween?
If our courts allow the trial lawyers to actually try lawsuits against others because some individual chose to consume to the point of obesity, then we definitely need an overhaul of the justice system because it is “fat” with idiots.
I sure do hope this is a Haloween prank! Anyway, since you need to be at least 18 to enter into a legally binding contract, having a 3 year old sign a waiver would do NO GOOD.
Halloween is a Pagan holiday that has no connection to Christianity whatsoever. It used to be a great tradition of dressing up in scary costumes to chase away the pagan “demons” that were active the eve before All Saints Day. Now it’s a great opportunity to dress up like a cartoon character that lives under the water and beg for candy or threaten people you’ll soap their windows.
Halloween is a day for the kids. Do you think a three year old knows what the holiday was for? No. People need to relax and have fun. Enjoy spending time with your kids and having fun.
I have to agree with Lighten up-what ever happened to good old-fashioned fun? It’s a sad commentary that our mindset has changed so much that we are in fear of lawsuits and legal liability for every thing we do.
Oh, I’m going to a party dressed as a very scary creature-a trial lawyer….
Boo!

I’m not sure what was funnier – the article, which was pretty funny, or those who thought it was serious.
Lighten up and don’t take insurance so literally. If you can’t recognize a joke it’s time for vacation.
