    Chubb is and has always been a great company, their contribution to the relief efforts is more than many carriers will do.

    Most carriers look for publicity. I’m sure we’ll see a multitude of Allstate windbreakers parading around for the cameras, but the question left dangling after Andrew: How will their contract perform with the restrictive replacement value language. We know Chubb will pay because its coverage is unimpeded.

    I am suprised by the amount of loss as Chubb has been very careful about it’s exposure in that area. However, the policy is fantastci and probably adds about 15 – 20% onto the total amount, when compared to other companies.
