Scary. The gas utility here has decided that all – residential, commercial – all buildings with gas must have the meters moved outside the building. So now in addition to worrying about distracted drivers jumping the curb (it has happened) or vandals smashing meters with ball bats, one must worry about falling ice/snow damaging the meters & causing fires/explosions.
