After the article the Archdiocese is still denying any claims. Is this for real? They have already listed the names of these horrible priests to the public. What next he isn’t the Archdiocese after all. This is nuts if you ask me.

What’s nuts is that brainwashed Catholics can’t make the leap to going after the leaders. It was hard for them to just get to the point of calling these rapist priests what they are. But they still believe that they can’t criticize Joseph Bernardin or Francis George because these criminals are somehow between them and God. From the mouth of God himself – “Thou shalt have no other gods before me”. Church royalty is absolutely the issue here. Read the documents and tell me if Bernardin and george shouldn’t have gone to prison for obstruction of justice. It takes a very sick person to rape a child. That mental illness is responsible for every act until discovered by someone with the ability to do something about it – every one thereafter is the responsbility of those who knew and covered it up or failed to do something. Yet the adoration, especially for Bernardin, continues. It’s like the idolatry shown to Joe Paterno at Penn St. only worse – many, many more victims. No bishop will ever receive my reverence – that’s reserved for God. And as a Catholic, I believe the only way to save the church is to separate the faith from the heresy of church royalty.

Lebowski, I assume I’m the “hater” you’re referring to. And I’m guessing that you probably think it’s scandalous of me to suggest that “his eminence” should serve jail time. Why is that? Do you have children? Would you not defend your child, or any other child, against a sick rapist or his protector? Isn’t it a cult-like mindset to defend those who obstructed justice and to do so because of the hat they wear? I’m a Catholic – because I believe everything in the creed and because I believe in the real presence. This crap hasn’t shaken my faith at all, and the church of Jesus Christ is not responsible for it. I’ll tell you who is, though – rapist priests, and bishops like John Cody, Joe Bernardin, and Francis George. What about what I’m saying is wrong?

One of these dirtbags was at my church when I was a kid (Vince McCaffrey). I’m quite certain friends of mine were victims. He went on, shielded from the police, to rape many other children at other churches, all with the knowledge of his superiors as they moved him around. Read the documents – see that the “saintly” Joe Bernardin was in the middle of the correspondence about him, attempting to save McCaffrey’s reputation and ministry and to “avoid scandal” – at the cost of raped children. Too blind to see it? Too brainwashed? If the church can’t treat its leaders as something other than halfway to God, there is no hope. Yeah – it’s personal.
