My comment on this article, in particular the incident where the brain-damaged individual on medication was involved in a pedestrian fatal involving a child, was he restricted by his physician from driving? If not, why was he sentenced to prison if he was taking the 5 prescribed meds for his brain injury? I am not defending him but if he was impaired from his legal prescribed drugs and he was taking them per his physician, it sounds as if the sentence was overly punitive.
