So what is an accident report good for? Why even make it if the parties cannot identify one another and the officer’s investigation is “redacted”?? May as well not even make a report, as it has no purpose.

If the police reports are redacted, they are of no value, and the public shouldn’t,t have to pay officers to produce worthless products. I want my money back

The police report is prepared by a public servant and should provide full and complete info., including names and all contact info. This includes telephone numbers. If the state wants to restrict access to those who have a vested interest in the incident, I could go along with that, but hiding that info is a travesty and should not be allowed.

That,s right. We wouldn’t,t need as many police if they didn’t, have to make accident reports.
