Wake up folks. A stupid law won’t prevent anything from texting to running down DOT workers. This society and legal system doesn’t have the balls to crackdown on anything. Nobody perceives a significant consequence to their behavior so they keep doing it. Want to cut down on DUI’s? Stop issuing multiple tickets. After the first conviction there should be a 6 month mandatory jail term. A third offense gets 1 year. A fourth, license suspension for life and impound and sell the vehicle. It that offends you, shut up and keep passing laws nobody obeys.
