Why is he seeking recovery from the motorcycle owner’s policy instead of from the driver of the car that struck him?

There is no permission given by the true owner!! How can the owner’s policy offer coverage in this case?

Neither the bike owner nor the insurance carrier should be liable for this one. Where is his own insurance policy??? If he is going to drive, he needs his own policy.

How about the friend who loaned him the stolen motorcycle? Why should the owner of a stolen vehicle be responsible for an accident that occurs after the vehicle is reported stolen, regardless of who was driving it?
