    The verdict is absurd and unrealistic. At a minimum, awards over a threshold amount should be taxable. It’s income.

    Do you have any idea how much these parents will have to pay for medical procedures for their son’s lifetime?? What if he out lives his parents and needs to reside in a nursing home? Who is going to pay that bill?? The state??? Wake up Jester

    Really, Jester, you apparently have never taken care of or seen parents of disabled children, that verdict isnt’ even enough to compensate for the loss of having a child that would have been born perfectly normal had the doctor just followed proper procedure and delivered her son by c-section. You should be ashamed of yourself making that comment. I commend that Mother for her pursuit. Doctor and Hospital will lose on appeal.
