Seriously, how can you not know you hit someone/thing with your vehicle? I am sure if she was on her cell records will prove that. As far as drinking goes, I can see that, she hits this guy, drives home, looks at the front end, maybe thinks it was an animal (not), then she passes out on the sofa. After seeing the car the next day it triggers her memory. Then she tells hubby and so on… Either way she is at fault.
