I’m guessing she may have had difficulties carrying out the dummy. If so that should have been her first clue women aren’t meant to be firefighters…..

Wow, your intelligence amazes me. Stating that women “aren’t” meant to be firefighters is very all-encompassing. Women probably should work outside the home either, huh? Just remember that there is always a woman that can out-run you, out-think you and flat at beat you at pretty much everything. I am not saying all women can do everything, just the same that not all men can do everything.

If a woman can pass the exam, there is no reason she shouldn’t. In fact, if physically capable of the lifting requirments, etc, women in general can tolerate harsher conditions than men based on their composition. I don’t care who runs into the burning building to save me if they can carry me out. I will thank them regardless of their gender.

Agree w/DW. I wouldn’t support altering the physical exam just to accomodate wannabees. The notion the exam was designed to fail females is absurd. Thise tests have been around long before any females ever considered wanting to be a firefighter. If even one other female passed the test, this suit should be dismissed.
