first of all, i bet you think they are mexican only by name….but they could have been any south american or even a spanish, portugeuese, but that should not matter. if it were a regular person by the name of brown or smith, they would have sued as well… the owner of the apartment will probably not have to worry about a third lawsuit because of the two were dismissed. if you look, many folks sue just to be money happy and get millions of dollars only to see that a good majority of it going to the lawyers first… many folks sue, because they don’t want to take their own personal responsibility and assume that it has to be other folks responsible and pay me money…

I believe wudchuck meant well in his/her comment. However, I do not believe there is any evidence to support that the tenants were responsible for this fire. Ethnic background does not have any effect on the responsibilities of the tenant and landlord.
