    I certainly hope that their attorney will eat the same percentage as what he would have made if the decision went his way.

    It was tragic. That being said… A pat on the back to the judge ordering court costs. I wish that we would see this more often. Perhaps, then people wouldn’t sue just to sue. I am very tired of the blame someone else mentality of this nation.

    I like the thought of the contingent fee swinging both ways. Currently, these scumbag attorneys have no “skin in the game”. They have nothing to lose if they lose. I agree with Reefer; if they lose the case, they should have to participate in the costs their clients were ordered to pay. Maybe they’d think twice before gumming up the courts with crap lawsuits and forcing others to incur defense costs.
