good idea – maybe parents would assume a little more responsibility for their wayward kids. a good start would be to take their cell phones away from them.
that is the very point! the parents can’t be with the children 24/7. teenagers have been known to sneek away and do things against the parents rules and social rules or gov’t rules. we need to tell kids, there are rules that you have to abide and there is a penalty if you don’t. if it becomes a habit, instead of a fine, do like some states, suspend their license!! take that license away (this would help parents on insurance) and yet, give the kids a reality check on obeying the rules.
here’s the other twist, is it that because of a few apples we are trying to make it work for all? not matter whom it hurts?
