Restoration of Univ. Wisconsin – Green Bay Housing Building Completed

Paul Davis Restoration announced it has completed a seven month fire restoration project at student housing Building 109, University of Wisconsin – Green Bay.

The building is one of the University’s original residential apartment buildings. It was built in 1970. The building sustained heavy damage by fire in June will open this month for student occupancy.

According to the company, the fire was reported on June 25, 2009 ,at the two-story structure with 17 units and 63 beds. At the time, the structure was unoccupied for the summer and there were no injuries. The official cause of the damage was not determined and authorities suspect electrical failure and no arson.

Insurance coverage for the project was estimated at $800,000.
