    Guess they found it wasn’t the cash cow legislation they figured it would be. We can only hope that the police have better things to do than strain to look into our windows? Just maybe.

    Yeah, that’s what we need – kids getting hit by cars while crossing guards are distracted writing down license plate numbers.

    wow! crossing guards with the authority to write down license plates of violators, does this mean they have a right to write tickets? does it not mean, if i write the ticket i have to have seen the event happen? if so, then as a citizen, can i write a ticket for anyone who parks in a handicap zone w/o the handicap person there? or can i write a ticket for a cop who did not use a turn signal when making a lane change? this just opens a can of worms that will wind up in court and nobody wins. it will toss out this legislation and make it unconstitutional.

    Police failed to write as many tickets as expected because they were too busy talking with thier spouces on thier cell phones while driving on patrol to notice other people talking on cell phones while driving.
